Carol Birch, a successful storyteller based in Conneticut, released her version of Gehrig's life on CD. The CD
is titled Lou Gehrig: The Story of a Great Man. In her hour-long story, Birch reveals the most well-known stories
of Gehrig's life, from childhood up through his battle with ALS.
Amazingly, Birch was not expert in baseball until she began her research of Gehrig. In her telling of Gehrig's
story, she comes across as if her first words were baseball lingo.
Beautifully told and enjoyable for all ages, Birch's CD is a definite must-listen for Gehrig fans.
